Improve your quality of life by starting with these small habits.

Health Section 

Drink a cup of warm water on an empty stomach in the morning. 

The first step to promoting intestinal peristalsis upon waking up - a habit that has persisted for five years. Not only can it awaken a wonderful morning, but it can also nourish your stomach. Don't replace it with coffee, please. 

2. No matter how busy or rushed you are, you must have breakfast. 

As the saying goes, breakfast must be a full meal. What wakes me up every day is not the alarm clock, nor is it dreams, but a delicious breakfast. My requirements for breakfast are extremely high, and it can even affect my mood for the rest of the day. I'm sure everyone is familiar with the scientific theory that "not having breakfast will make you gain more weight". No matter how busy you are, you can't ignore breakfast. 

3. Exercise for 20 minutes every day 

Believe me, exercise is your best friend and your best doctor. You can do some aerobic exercises, such as jogging or playing sports. If you have the conditions and time, a gym is definitely an opportunity for you to seize the chance to make changes. In the future, when you get old, you will surely be grateful to yourself for exercising now. 

4. Stop eating after 9 p.m. and stop drinking water 2 hours before bedtime. 

In simple terms, avoid having late-night snacks. Don't have late-night treats. Especially for those of us who are pretending to be on a diet, be more determined. Secondly, our stomachs need some rest. Stop drinking water before bedtime. This not only reduces the number of times you get up at night but also prevents water retention the next day. If you can't resist the urge to drink, take a small sip. 

5. Reading before sleep can help you relax, but it's best to keep your phone away from you. 

Reading some books before bedtime can help you fall asleep better and improve yourself during the breaks. Mobile phones are the main culprit that makes young people stay up late. It's best to keep a safe distance from them. Moreover, the radiation from mobile phones is quite strong. Don't place them near the pillow to charge easily. I'm very afraid that I might become stupid because of this, although I'm already rather stupid. 

6. Eat more fruits such as tomatoes, dragon fruit, and oranges. 

Although fruits contain some sugar, they are still better than foods like carbohydrates. Tomatoes are truly the favorite of those who are on a diet. Eating more fruits not only helps maintain good looks and beauty but also keeps one in good shape.

7. Listen to English audio in the morning and memorize English words. 

The phrase "grabbing the opportunity when it arises" would be perfectly applicable to me. I should take advantage of the best time for memory retention and learn more. I can listen to Ted or BBC news and adjust the volume according to my learning level. I highly recommend the apps I have been using: Daily English Listening, Lazy English, 100 Words斩, Scallop English, and IELTS Listening. 

8. Read more and learn to make reading notes. 

Reading is like a person's second face and second resume. The more books one reads, the richer one's experience will be. The books I recommend reading are: "The Moon and Sixpence", "Nonviolent Communication", "White Nights", "The Biography of Zhang Ailing", and "The Crowd in Disorder". 

9. Prepare the clothes you will wear the next day 

Before going to bed every day, spend five minutes preparing the clothes you will wear the next day. This way, you can avoid the rush in the morning, and wearing unattractive clothes will also affect your mood. You might feel embarrassed when seeing acquaintances or have trouble expressing yourself when meeting the person you like. 

10. The Three Steps of Eating 

Wash your hands before eating, pay attention to your appearance while eating, and keep your mouth and teeth clean after eating. Sometimes a person's small habits can reveal whether they have another side that is very untidy. If you don't want others to see through you, pay attention to your appearance. 

11. Use an automatic toothbrush. For washing your face, it's best to use a face towel. 

Using a clean toothbrush can save you a lot of time and allow for a more thorough cleaning of the dirt in your teeth. Using a towel might lead to some bacteria growing in the air, so it's best to wipe with a disposable face towel. 

12. After taking a bath, apply body lotion and apply thick lip balm before going to bed. 

This way, the skin can remain in a smooth and moist state, and it won't be so dry at night. 

13. Mark the opening dates of the skin care products and cosmetics, and sort them out properly. 

This is very important for girls. You can record these dates in a memo to keep track of whether the products you use have expired. Makeup and skincare products should be sorted and categorized separately. Systematic classification will prevent you from getting overwhelmed. 

14. Choose the perfume that suits you best. Don't prioritize price. 

When choosing a perfume, especially when you can't smell it, it's important to understand its top, middle, and base notes. Don't just blindly choose expensive perfumes like Gucci or Chanel. Sometimes, budget-friendly perfumes might be more suitable for you. 

15. Learn to manage your finances. Make sure to keep track of all your expenses and income. 

Make rational consumption. When you really like something, first add it to the shopping cart, but don't buy it. After three days, see if you still like it and whether it really has value.
