The 11th Gen iPad Just Dropped To Its Lowest Price Of The Year Ahead Of Black Friday

Also known as the iPad A16, this is the latest generation of iPad, released on March 12, 2025. The price is down from $349 to $274, or $75 off. And per the reviews, this baby’s features are worth it — from the brilliant display to a jaw-dropping processor that makes it ultra-speedy. Right on time for gifting yourself or loved ones, we’re spotting its record-low price at both Amazon and Walmart (and for the rollback retailer, this means you could scoop this online and pick it up today if you like).

The 11th generation iPad is a major upgrade from previous-gen iPads, but just under the processing power of the iPad Pro and iPad Mini — all thanks to an A16 Pro chip. This is chip adds speed to basic functions, though it’s notably the only iPad that doesn’t feature Apple Intelligence (AI). In other words, it will not perform tasks by studying your personalized data.

That doesn’t mean it isn’t a powerhouse, though. “You literally cannot get this amount of computing power for the price anywhere else,” explains one reviewer. “6GB of RAM and 128 GB storage are awesome for casual use...[…] But this device does everything I need and is more powerful and elegant than mid-level MacBook pros that cost $1000 more 10 years ago.”

Hardware-wise, the iPad A16 t has a 12 MP camera, Touch ID for extra security measures, 4K video, “all-day” battery life and extra speedy processing power.

Get the 11th gen iPad with 128 GB of storage in one of four colors for less while you can — and don’t forget the $7 screen protector and this $9 case option! Keep scrolling for other Apple accessories and products to grab.

“I’ve been using the 11-inch iPad for a bit now, and I’m honestly obsessed. The screen looks super clean and vibrant, and everything runs really smooth — no lag at all. It’s the perfect size to carry around without feeling bulky, but still big enough to watch shows or do homework comfortably. The battery lasts forever, and using it with the Apple Pencil is actually so fun. Overall, it just makes my life easier, and I’d 100% recommend it to anyone thinking about getting one.” — Jorge

“A no-brainer. You literally cannot get this amount of computing power for the price anywhere else. 6GB of ram and 128 gb storage are awesome for casual use, the larger sizes of space would only be great if I wanted to store my full photos library which is around 350 GB. I had just purchased a 10th generation iPad in silver before this was released because my laptop had recently been stolen and I didn’t want to spend $2000 on a new one, and was lucky to be able to return the 10th gen to buy this one. I ended up buying blue because it was available the next day as opposed to a two week wait for silver, and actually like it better than silver and have gotten several compliments on it. My only complaints is the screen is reflective in outdoor light, and I wish the speakers got louder. But this device does everything I need and is more powerful and elegant than mid-level MacBook pros that cost $1000 more 10 years ago.” — Patrick Doyle

Upgraded to this iPad mainly for media, reading, and some light work stuff, and it’s been awesome so far. The A16 chip makes everything feel super quick, and the screen is really sharp and bright—great for watching Netflix or YouTube. Battery lasts all day like they say, and it charges pretty fast too. I also like that it still has Touch ID. The blue color looks really nice in person—not too flashy but still different. No complaints here—if you’re looking for a solid all-around iPad, this is a great choice.” — Prashant Mall
