Oscar-winning actor Will Smith has recently become embroiled in a scandal. Brian King Joseph, a violinist who participated in his tour, has formally filed a lawsuit accusing Smith of sexual harassment, wrongful termination, and retaliation.

According to *Variety*, Joseph named both Will Smith and his company, Treyball Studios Management, as co-defendants in the complaint. He alleges that during the "Based on a True Story: 2025 Tour" held last spring, Smith deliberately sought to close the distance between them, engaging in what Joseph describes as "grooming and guiding."
According to the complaint, the two parties established a working relationship in November 2024. At that time, Smith invited Joseph to perform at a show in San Diego, subsequently extending an invitation for him to join the 2025 tour lineup and participate in the recording of a new album. As interactions increased, Joseph claims Smith repeatedly emphasized that they "shared a special connection," asserting that this relationship was unique and unlike any he had with others.
Joseph officially joined the tour for its first stop in Las Vegas in March 2025. The organizers had arranged unified hotel accommodations for the musicians and staff. During this time, Joseph's bag containing his room key card went missing for several hours. Although it was eventually recovered by the management team, Joseph became suspicious, as theoretically only management personnel had the freedom to access his room.
Later that same evening, upon returning to his room, Joseph discovered that it appeared to have been entered without authorization. Several items had been left inside, including wet wipes, a bottle of HIV medication labeled with someone else's name, and a sticky note signed "Stone F." The note read: "Brian, I'll be back by 5:30 at the latest, just us (followed by a heart)."
Joseph believes this act was intimidating and implied that someone intended to return to the room to engage in sexual activity with him. Following the incident, Joseph immediately notified hotel security and Smith's representatives, and filed a police report. However, he claims that several days later, he was humiliated by members of the management team and informed that he had been fired, with the team implying that he had fabricated the entire event.
The complaint further states that Joseph suffered from symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and incurred substantial financial losses following his dismissal. He has filed the lawsuit on grounds of sexual harassment, wrongful termination, and retaliation, requesting that a jury determine the amount of damages. As of now, Will Smith's side has not responded to the allegations.
